Keynote Speaker
Augustine Jimenez, Program Associate, Achieve Atlanta Augustine Jimenez was born in Los Angeles, grew up in Mexico, and is now a proud Atlanta resident. He is the son of Mexican immigrants who came to the U.S. in search of a better life, and in 2020 he graduated from Boston University as a Posse Scholar and a first-generation, low-income student. In 2019, he was selected as the Harry S. Truman Scholar from Georgia. Augustine currently works as a Program Associate at Achieve Atlanta, a higher education non-profit that also funded his college studies. He also serves in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. Augustine hopes to pursue a career that gives back to the communities that have uplifted him.
