Executive Project Manager

Title: Executive Project Manager to the CEO
Reports to: President/CEO 
Position Type: Volunteer position

Time Commitment: 
5-10 hours per week.​

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Directs and integrates the activities of multiple, major project operations; ensures that project efforts are generally cohesive, consistent, and effective in supporting the organization's mission, goals, and strategic plan.
  • Participates in and oversees the development, implementation, and maintenance of individual project objectives and short- and long-range plans; develops tracking and evaluation programs to assist in the accomplishment of established project goals and objectives.
  • Manages the working relationships between project leadership, organization administration, principal business and operational stakeholders, and high-level external constituencies.
  • Consults, coordinates, and serves as principal liaison with senior officials on strategic matters of policy, interdivisional interaction, and capital development, improvement, and management.
  • ​Implement additional projects and tasks as assigned by the Senior Leadership Team

Qualifications:
  • College student or young professional
  • Demonstrated interest/experience nonprofit leadership and administration
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English required
  • Energetic, personable, and creative with an ability to relate well to diverse populations
  • Deadline oriented and able to take initiative and work well under pressure
  • Strong ability to plan and manage multiple projects with high attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Work effectively in teams
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ethical and moral character
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) required.
