The Journey GYP Leadership Institute, a comprehensive nine-month business leadership program, aligns perfectly with Georgia FirstGen's belief that growth is a continuous journey, not a destination. By combining the expertise of top leadership and development organizations in Gwinnett, the Journey Program offers participants a unique opportunity to enhance their skills and knowledge through a series of workshops.
The program begins each year in August and concludes in April, providing an extensive curriculum that covers crucial areas such as emotional intelligence, values-based leadership, problem-solving, conflict management, diversity, equity, and inclusion, embracing change, communication, collaboration, leadership effectiveness, team dynamics, coaching and feedback, and envisioning leadership impact.
