Georgia First Generation Foundation to Hosts First Leadership Summit for High Schoolers

Gwinnett County (METRO ATLANTA) GA – [SEPTEMBER 3, 2019] – Georgia First Generation Foundation will host the first Georgia First Leadership Summit on Saturday, November 9, from 9 AM to 5 PM for local high school students. The summit, which will be held at PCOM Georgia in Suwanee, will acclimate students to different fields upon graduation from high school and the steps they will need to take to get to those areas of interest.

During the event, students will participate in an exhibit that will showcase experts in a variety of fields including healthcare, education, business, STEM, and engineering among others. Students will also get the chance to meet with these experts in group settings, where they will be able to ask questions and hear the perspectives of these individuals and how they become successful in their industries.

The Georgia First Leadership Summit is a great networking opportunity for high school students to learn from our community about what colleges have to offer and get great tips on what to expect beyond these years and when entering their desired aspirations," said Charbel Aoun, Co-Founder and President of the Georgia First Generation Foundation.
